Disney’s Tomorrowland, starring George Clooney,
is one of my favorite Disney movies. The director is Brad Bird. It is a lot
better than Disney movies such as Lilo
and Stitch and Mulan. This story
is ideal for people who like the non-animated side of Disney.
The main plot of Tomorrowland is to stop the time bomb from destroying the world.
The main character Casey (Brittany Robertson) has been arrested for trespassing
on government property. When she is let off with a warning, she gets her stuff
and then finds a pin. When Casey touches it, she realizes it takes her to
magical place known as Tomorrowland.
The story contains
some parts that are quite pointless at times, like when Athena (Raffey Cassidy)
gets hit by a Chevy Silverado. This violence just sort of happens, which makes
this scene pointless.
Frank Walker (George
Clooney) is the expert on Tomorrowland. At first when he meets Casey, he is not
willing to help anybody. Then when Govenor Nix (Hugh Laurie) sends his evil
army to Frank’s house, Frank’s security cameras tracks the army, and Frank and
Casey barely escape in time. This movie is quite similar many graphic movies. I
hope there is a sequel for Tomorrowland!
